Dolley Madison was born in 1768. She was raised a Quaker and her father arranged her first marriage.  At 25 Dolley became a widow and a few years later married James Madison.  James Madison became our fourth president and Dolley became one of the most memorable First Ladies America has seen.  Read the book to see what fantastic things Dolley did while she was in Washington, D.C.

Woodpeckers can be noisy birds, but they are also very beautiful birds.  This book shows how woodpeckers live their lives through the seasons.  The pictures are very colorful and introduce you to several breeds of woodpeckers.  Great book for introduction to bird watching.
